Julie LeFils Bio
A native Floridian, Julie LeFils (pronounced Le-Feece) graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors in Advertising/Public Relations and a Masters in Mass Communication. As a Navy wife, she has called many cities home - moving around Florida, to Texas, and finally California. Throughout this journey she has had the privilege of working in a variety of different fields: Communications Director with WestCare Foundation, Communications Instructor at College of the Sequoias, Coastal Bend, and UCF, leadership development with Texas A&M- Kingsville, marketing with the Wings Over South Texas Air Show, public relations with HD Supply, and marketing with United Cerebral Palsy of Central Florida. Julie is honored to now serve Kings Partnership for Prevention as Coalition Coordinator, working to promote the work of prevention in Kings County. Within the valley community, Julie serves as an Elder at First Presbyterian Church of Hanford, Board Member for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and a volunteer with the Ice House Theater.
